Read the following prompt:
The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.
“Nervous?”
You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.
“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.
“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”

*she looks at the kind older woman, fully ready to say she does not want to talk. But once she sees her kind warm eyes, she sighs and speaks*
“I came because.. Well im not sure, There is not much to it really..”
*she speaks as he looks down to her own hands, but upon realizing the older woman was still paying attention, she takes a deep breath and speaks again*
“Although i do not wish to bore you ,i am from *Sharuul, more specifically the far regions of Aisin . I love the peace and quiet, and yet.. I was bored, I never really felt “in the right place”.”
*she says as she looks up, and lens back against the wagon, like she understands she had no hopes for a quiet trip*
“Its quite cliche really” *she mumbles more to herself*
“ my family follows old traditions, so when i came of age i did a pilgrimage into the mountains. The entire time i though, once i reached the summit, everything would make sense, i would feel like i belonged. i thought those bad feelings would vanish. But they stayed. And i enjoyed the climb more than the view in the end.”
*she then falls silent, hoping the older woman would take that as enough of a answer, but as she kept staring at roxana, she returned to speak*
“Once i returned my brothers and sisters praised me, talking about "how light and free i must be feeling". but i didnt feel like that at all. i am the only half race in the family, perhaps that is why i don't feel like i belong. My family is quite.. Strict with traditions”
*she does not seem like she wishes to elaborate more*
“so after i returned, and the same gloom fell upon me, my eldest brother took me aside for a talk. I opened my heart to him, spoke of the summit. Of how i dont really think my life was amounting to anything. How much i wondered if there was more for me somewhere else. I hoped he would encourage me, perhaps share my insecurities, but instead he called me a “faithless fool”. So i left, not because he offended me, but because he is right. My brothers and sisters have done so much and yet, I do fear my soul is weak, i fear my faith has never been truthful. i fear i am not blessed by the feys but cursed. but then again, i might just be overthinking.”
*roxana says, slowly, like she is not used to speaking much. Her eyes look tired*
“So i suppose i am a bit lost. I am curious about the Violet River, i want to see *the The Spire*. But mostly Aedall, i heard so much about it from old tomes and tales. And yet i have never meet someone who visited what it once was. I am going to the Southern Reach. I will see the monument. And then.. Well who knows, if i like it, i might stay for a while more. I dont really have much of a plan. i never really do"
