Read the following prompt:
The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.
“Nervous?”
You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.
“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.
“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”

"I'm very nervous, but excited" Alani beams a smile "I came here from The Pearl Coast, more specifically Port Aylma'aan, you've probably met a few Valkians that docked there on their way to the mainland, you should stop by sometime we have amazing food." Alani salivates at the thought of a homecooked meal "And don't even get me started on the music, the day my brother got married, my father and mother played a duet that lasted for five hours! a lot of travelers stayed to listen and missed their travel arrangements" Alani hums the melody to the song for a few seconds "But the time comes for everyone to eventually leave the nest, so with some help from family I built a small boat and set off looking for adventure and new friends, with the hope that one day I can return telling stories to excite everyone the way they once did me" Alani looks up at the sun, no where near as bright as back home, but it still felt good on her skin, "I'm the last of my extended family to go through this rite of passage, most stayed home, but a few of my cousins left looking for something more, I wonder if they ended up here just like me..." Alani pats her bag, full of all her worldly belongings, including her tattered clothes, she had to do some favors for new clothes after her old ones got torn to shreds by a Mournshade on her way to the reach, that was the first day she regretted stepping away from the coast, Alani had never felt as terrified as she did when a Mournshade attacked her, if it weren't for a group of Valkian there to help, she would surely be dead "Say, do you happen to know where a seamstress might be around here? I have a few things that need patching up." Alani feels embarrassed wearing cheap clothes after a lifetime of wearing silk. The older woman smiles "If you have the money i'm sure you'll be able to find someone in town that can help you"
