Reflection, Season of Typhon

 Happy almost-spring and Ramadan Mubarak! Apologies, this will be a more bare-bones edition of the newsletter, while I am working on behind-the-scenes planning and organizing for multiple quality-of-life updates. Keep an eye out for a separate community update post later this month (some details below). 

Other members of the Community Team will be working on the newsletter in tandem with myself now to better cover current going-ons of the server, and to better facilitate player-submitted content.

Lore Compendium & Bestiary

• Released the Korami Expansion, including Provinces and the Great Clans. [Ko'ram] [Great Clans of Ko'ram]
• Released the Mournshade, a new bestiary entry. [Beasts of the Realm]
• Expanded The Spire's lore. [The Spire]
• Expanded The Wall's lore. [The Wall]

Systems & Combat

A new mechanic clarification and some changes to cantrips have been rolled out.

• The behavior of [Evade] and [Block] against critical hits (rolls of (10, 10)) has been clarified - [Mechanics]
  • A critical attack (a roll of 20, 10+10) cannot be evaded.
  • A critical attack (a roll of 20, 10+10) cannot be blocked.
• The new, updated cantrips have been posted. [Grimoire]
  • Repair was removed.
  • Dampen renamed to Waterweave.
  • Within the next week (or so), you will be able to freely re-spec your cantrips. Please note we are now strictly enforcing the rule of 1 patron cantrip, 1 general cantrip. They are listed separately. 
  • The upcoming Patron, Xinshi, has had cantrips finalized

• Recurring - Foraging in the Reach: Enter for a chance to win a DMed foraging mini-event trip!
• Recurring - Nutward Putward Cave: "A number of groups have taken interest in the rumors of the recently found, recently named Nutward Putward Cave just north of town and a bit off the beaten path, due to its uncharted and labyrinthine tunnels, small bounty of crystals, and other details. While nothing sinister has been found lurking within the cave as of yet, it is full of narrow passageways, rough edges, and flooded chambers, and should be navigated with at least some degree of caution."
