[!] A new notice has been put up, printed out in blocky lettering for maximum legibility.
On Reflection 11th, 1640 an incident occurred at the townhall, resulting in the evacuation of the townhall due to a foul stench being emitted through the whole building. The incident was caused by the sudden death of Former Councilman Thurlow Hobert. The circumstances of his death is mundane, but the mechanisms of his death is perplexing. The following notice is meant to serve as a public report on the investigation of Thurlow's death, immediately after his expiration. Diarmait and myself were present to conduct an investigation. The facts will be kept brief and in bulletpoint for ease of reading:
- Former Councilman Thurlow Hobert's death was caused by an explosion or implosion of his entire body, with very little of his bones and clothes remaining
- Despite Thurlow's explosive death, the room and furniture suffered very little damage, other than shrapnel formed by tiny fragments of his bones
- Based on the blood stain patterns, it is certain that Thurlow stood near the center of his office when he expired
- The blood stain patterns also suggest that no one else was in the room when Thurlow expired
- All sides of the walls, ceiling, and floor were stained by Thurlow's blood
- His blood was mixed with a darker, nearly black ichor that was certainly not blood in colour, and much thicker in viscosity than regular blood
- The stain pattern of the darker black ichor suggests that his blood was mixed with this darker ichor, thus when Thurlow expired the darker ichor was also jetted out in the same pattern as his regular blood
- The foul odour that was emitted during and after Thurlow's expiry could be described as overwhelmingly of blood, but with a stench of burnt hair, and a sulphuric odour mixed.
- The sulphuric odour itself is more akin to bogwater
- A box of files was knocked over from the desk, spilling in the direction of the door.
- However there are reasons to believe this is indication of how ill the Councilman was prior to his expiration, and not the malicious action of a third party
The Circle of Four has already been made aware of the basics of what has happened, however this is the full report on the investigation of Thurlow's death. I have already made recommendations that the former Councilman's office be cleaned, whatever remains collected and stored separately for later examination.
All those that have recently spoken with Thurlow are asked to come forwards and speak with Dr. Konrad Radziwill.
Signed,
Dr. K. Radziwill
