Souls Lost Before The Sundering

  • Sinala Vainanen, a blind bard, left his lodgings to gather at the shelter. He failed to arrive and has not been seen since.

  • Radhym Brouk is nowhere to be found. His usual campsite has been abandoned for days.

  • Brieze Martolod, secretary of the Atelier, did not meet with others under the Spire, as she had repeatedly stated she would, nor was she seen at the shelter. Those familiar with her office would notice a new, innocuous item placed on her desk—a sea urchin shell.

Lady Mourning | Radhym Brouk

A few days after the events of the Sundering, some more perceptive individuals may spot the absence of someone.

Maarten is once again alone behind the bar; fewer children's books are being lent in the library, in the public workshop, tools are no longer stored close to the ground, and papers mentioning her looking for an apprenticeship have been thrown away.

The doors to The Roots are often closed. Those who knock are never turned away, but the once cheerful enthusiasm of the place has disappeared in mourning.

[!]

As the siege upon the town originating from the Ether concludes, the settlement begins to show the first signs of reconstruction. At the wreckage of the shrine that once stood before the Spire's door, a stout woman can be seen, battered and bruised, hefting a pickaxe as she chips away at the huge crystal that had once hovered above before crashing down upon the building.

Metal striking metal  could be heard from the notice board. Someone physically carved something into the steel making up the “Sign up” sign.

”NO MORE FRIENDS. NO MORE LOVE. TOO PAINFUL KNOWING PEOPLE, NOT WORTH. RATHER DIE COLD AND ALONE THAN GIVE PEOPLE MORE AGONY. ONLY WAR. ONLY DEATH. RIP THE HEART OUT, OR BE TORTURED BY IT.”

The Siren's Song is closed until further notice. Something horrible must have happened...

The Lighthearted | Mage

The house near the top of the docks has been dormant for quite a while, only the smoke rising from its chimney each night notifying of its occupant still being there. A sign was put up since the end of the Sundering, and few see anyone come in or out. Guard duty has been less of late and the militia keep lacks one tenant.

Rumours among shady circles and well known underbar-goers speak of an exclusive underground gambling house hidden somewhere in The Spire...

DM 2kelp on discord with credible reasoning as to how your character might know of this if you'd like to pursue this rumour!

The Kirin Brewery has become dark & empty, closed to the public. The owner can easily found in the nearby forge, but in a less sociable mood. Not hostile, but not very willing to speak either as a large multitude of crafts begin to pile within the forge.

[[OOC: Feel free to still come over & rp. She won't be an ass but also won't be very talkative either. Guess if you're looking for a listener only, now's the time? lol]]

Elreyna has vanished again.
Though this time, a sense of ease follows her disappearance. On the outskirts of town, hunters and farmers report sightings of a purple-dress Elf meditating on hillsides and mountains, usually beneath great oaks or willows.

Any that go looking for her, however, find that she vanishes before they get there.
Though she does leave a note for them.

The Nocturne requires me, for a small time. Fear not: I shall return in a week.

(( I am now on holiday until the 6th without internet or a computer, this is the IC reason ))

Continued rumors now spread that the teen named Renfri was caught egging a home and having a verbal altercation in the streets when caught by the owner.
