"People of the Spire,
The time for shattered blades and splintered shields approaches. We have confirmed the location of the Aedall “Garden” and the artifact these various factions have been searching for. It is a grand tree of Viridian Bark. We have coined it “The Conduit,” as it’s function is to be a conduit of so-called Wild Magic. Such a thing requires a Keeper, one who attunes to the tree and channels such a power. We know not of what it's capable of, only that it is powerful. Falling into the wrong hands or desecrated, this relic can lead to disaster.Our reports have also confirmed that the Knights Lictor of the Lampwood have also found the Garden. Thankfully the Aedall were keen minded and hid the path to the artifact with illusions and magic to keep such intruders out. As far as we know they have not broken this yet. Under no circumstances are the Knights Lictor allowed to achieve their goal.In the face of this danger the Dúathrim and Spire Militia write this beckoning call. We call upon the aid of any Spire citizen willing to take up arms against these enemies of the Reach. Long have they harassed us and threatened us with conquest. A grueling battle awaits, the possibility of death is very real. No matter how dark the night gets, The Dúathrim and Spire Militia will stand with you until the bitter end.If you answer this call please seek out either Artorius, or visit the Militia barracks and sign up as a volunteer with their Captains Helara and Ink.
