Character Name: Maliketh
Desired Fable: Shrinekeeper for the Lady of the Lake
What has your character done to qualify them for the fable / gather the attention of the fable?: As an additional measure of his devotion to the Lady that knighted him, Maliketh has started a humble shrine to her. Here, he's set up a donation plate for those generous enough to give a few Crowns. The funds, then, are distributed throughout the Spire: used sometime to buy supplies for the hospital, sometimes to feed the poor and needy, and sometimes simply to contribute towards projects that would benefit the entire township (building roads, housing, etc.). Additionally, as the Lady herself dictates no core tenets, Maliketh has inscribed pieces of his own personal code of chivalry on wooden posts, with a sword stabbed into the ground in front of each - a representation of his steadfast duty to honor these core values.
He's set this up near a pond that's shaded by a large tree - not anywhere as grand as the lake he first saw the Lady emerge at, but still... a quaint enough body of water. It is also right beside his camp.
Tangentially, Maliketh has also established a knightly order in her name, The Order of the Shimmering Lake, and has begun observing the knights around him to find honorable recruits. While he does not expect every member of the order to be a devout follower of the Lady, he hopes that she will recognize him starting it in her name.
